Michigan CNC Technology, Inc. (MCT) was founded in 2009 when Bill Johnson decided it was time to acquire the assets of the systems integrator that employed him as the engineering manager for the previous 14 years. The company’s experience has primarily been in the integration of industrial controls and CNC controls on grinding machines. The company provides innovative and customized controls for OD, ID, and Centerless grinder applications for OEM and end user customers. MCT has experience in the following grinder OEM machine upgrades: Landis, Norton, Warner & Swasey, Pratt & Whitney, Cincinnati Milacron, Bryant, Heald, Schaudt, and Butler Newal. We also have experience in integrating controls for CNC lathes, machining centers, mills, stamping presses, gantry loaders and automation.

The reputation of honesty and integrity has been and still is being rewarded today. The contacts and relationships built over several years of being in the industry have continued to reward and challenge us with new opportunities. Our expertise in customized controls and grinding applications, have prompted our customers to ask for assistance in other areas of manufacturing. We have the ability to assist our customers with grinding and metal removal processes allowing us to contribute to our customer’s success.

The bearing industry, automotive, diesel engine, truck, agriculture, small engine and related industries are our typical customer profile. We have also provided machines, consulting, and control systems for countries outside of the United States such as Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
